Synopsis A Different World ()

A Different World follows the daughter of Dr. Huxtable, Denise Huxatble, as she attended the alma mater of her parents, Hillman College. Denise struggles through college and meets memorable friends along the way. Dwayne, Whitley, Jalessa, Maggie and Ron bring college life to the living room of may homes during the first season. Seasons 2-6 capture the essence of being young, black and educated in America by tackling political, ethical, racial, emotional and social issues far before the media was ready to address them.
