In the distant future, a federation marshal arrives at a research lab on a remote planet where a genetic experiment has gotten loose and begins feeding on the dwindling scientific group.

On planet Xarbia, an experimental life form, Subject 20, has been created by an elite group of researchers in hopes of preventing a galactic food crisis. However, when Subject 20 becomes deadly, the best troubleshooter in the Galaxy is called in to investigate.

The Federation agent Mike Colby is sent to the remote planet Xarbia to attend the call of scientists. Mike learns that the lethal genetic experiment Subject 20 that was created by the scientists has become dangerous. Mike wants to terminate Subject 20, but the responsible for the facility, Dr. Gordon Hauser, is reluctant to destroy the experiment. However, when Subject 20 gets loose from his cage, he begins to kill the personal of the facility.

Synopsis Forbidden World (1982)

Inside a traveling spacecraft, a robot pilot at the controls called SAM-104 (Don Olivera) approaches Mike Colby (Jesse Vint), who is encased, unconscious, in a glass chamber in a form of hibernation stasis. As the man awakens, the robot informs him that the ship is under attack. Mike and SAM-104 escape by firing missiles at the encroaching raiders. The robot tells him that the Federation has extended Mike's mission, diverting them to the planet Xarbia to repair a security lab. They jump into hyperspace and arrive at the station on the surface of Xarbia, a desert-like planet with two orbiting suns.

Inside, Mike meets Dr. Gordon Hauser (Linden Chiles) and Dr. Barbara Glaser (June Chadwick), then turns off SAM-104's controls. The doctors explain that they conduct bacteriological genetic engineering experiments and have successfully created a new food source. When Mike bumps into crew member Tracy Baxter (Dawn Dunlap), Gordon asks her to find their colleague, Jimmy Swift (Michael Bowen), and bring him to the laboratory. In the lab, Mike meets Dr. Cal Tinburgen (Fox Harris), head of bacteriology, and observes the piles of bloody rabbit carcasses strewn across the floor. They tell him that an octopus-like "metamorphic mutant" called Subject 20, which continuously alters its genetic makeup to change forms, caused the damage. The so-called Subject 20 is seen in one of the glass cages covered in a type of cocoon. Mike proposes they kill the creature, but Barbara convinces him to wait.

As Tracy joins Mike, the doctors, and crew members Earl Richards (Scott Paulin) and Brian Beale (Raymond Oliver) for dinner, Jimmy cleans the lab and notices that the creature's breathing in the cocoon increases. Gordon calls Jimmy on the intercom to inform him that the behavior is normal, but sends Tracy back to investigate. A slimy, black blob emerges from Subject 20 and attacks Jimmy. Meanwhile, the doctors explain that their experiments involve a substance called Proto-B, the genes of which they spliced with a fast-growing alga. When Mike asks what was spliced with Proto-B to create Subject 20, Barbara mentions a deceased crew member named Annie, but no one elaborates further. They receive a distress signal from Tracy, who discovered Jimmy's body in the lab with his brain missing, but his heart still beating. While Cal brings the corpse into the medical bay, Barbara gives her condolences to Tracy.

That night, Earl watches security camera footage of Barbara and Mike making love before noticing an alarm warning. He descends to a darkened corridor, where the monster attacks him. Meanwhile, Cal injects medicine into his torso as he sits and watches Jimmy's skin and muscle rapidly turn to gelatin.

The next morning, Mike walks in on Tracy sitting naked, taking a steam bath. As he undresses, the monster attacks, but they escape. The creature breaks through the sauna skylight, and Mike announces that he, Gordon, Brian, and SAM-104 will follow it outside. The men put on protective spacesuits, and Gordon explains that they only have an hour before the atmosphere will cause the nitrogen in their blood to froth. In the lab, Barbara and Cal watch as the gelatinous pile divides in two.

On the desert surface of Xarbia, Brian finds Earl's decomposing body near the mutant's latest cocoon. The men shoot at the sac with a laser gun, but discover it is empty. Near the station, they see the monster, which has morphed into a large, black, tentacled creature with a gaping mouth. The mutant swallows Gordon whole and dives down one of the station's vents into the control room, destroying all the computers. Cal realizes that the creature is creating permanent food supply by injecting the humans' bodies with Proto-B, causing them to infinitely split and reproduce. Gordon, deformed and nearly dead, stumbles into the room and falls to the ground. Cal explains that Gordon spliced his own cells with Proto-B, which were then used to fertilize an egg that was implanted into Annie's uterus. Subject 20 grew so quickly, however, that it killed her two weeks later.

Meanwhile in the showers, Barbara tells Tracy that they need to communicate with the creature instead of attacking it. As the men brainstorm ways to kill the mutant, the two women enter the control room. Realizing that the creature can understand her and has wired itself into the computer system, Barbara uses the keyboard to ask it if it can co-exist with humans. In response, Subject 20 stabs her with its tentacle. Tracy runs to tell the men that Barbara was killed, and Mike and Brian follow her back to the control room. SAM-104 reveals that it knows Cal has cancer; Cal injects his cancerous cells into a sample of Gordon's mutating tissue. He then uses lasers to blast the remainder of the monster's food supply before joining Brian and Mike in the control room. The creature's cocoon emits a liquid onto the control boards, which electrocutes Brian. Cal attempts to kill the creature, but a tentacle smashes into his head.

Accompanied by SAM-104, Mike carries the injured doctor into another lab room, where Cal instructs him to cut out his liver tumor and feed it to the mutant. Tracy runs to Cal's room to get his morphine supply. On her way back, the monster chases her through the halls. Unable to wait for the morphine, Mike performed the crude surgery to remove the cancer. Just then, Tracy returns to the lab after being chased by the monster and gives the morphine to Cal. Just as Mike removes the large tumor on Cal's liver, Cal dies. Just then, the monster, Subject 20, breaks into the lab and attacks. Mike attempts to feed the monster the tumor without getting eaten himself, while SAM-104 shoots at the monster with its ray gun without success. SAM-104 then takes a scalpel blade off a table and stabs the monster in its right eye, but the monster uses one of its tentacles to hit SAM-104 with such force that the robot is flung against a wall and breaks into several pieces. Just then, Mike manages to get the creature to eat the malignant tumor. The monster quickly reacts by vomiting violently and collapses to the floor. As the monster finally dies in a slow and clearly agonizing death, Mike and Tracy stand among the carnage, remembering their fellow crew members that died in the struggle.

Gamers playing a MMORPG based on the "Hellraiser" films find their lives endangered after being invited to a rave, the host of which intends to show them the truth behind the Cenobite mythos.

The youngsters Chelsea, Allison, Derrick and Mike are grieving the suicide of their friend Adam, who became obsessed with an internet game called Hellworld. Their former friend Jake blames the group since they have not stopped playing the game even when Adam was unstable. When they receive an invitation to a Hellworld party in an isolated mansion, the reluctant Chelsea decides to join the group and they surprisingly find Jake in the party. He explains that he was invited by a girl he met in a chat room. They are hosted by the owner of the place, who shows them his private macabre collection. Along the night, they find that they are in a party in hell.

Synopsis Hellraiser: Hellworld (2005)

The film introduces a circle of youths who are addicted to playing Hellworld, an online computer game based on the Hellraiser series. The film opens at the funeral of Adam, one of the friends who was obsessed with the game and was murdered by the Cenobites after, unknowingly, releasing them by solving the puzzle box, which was in his father's possession. The remaining five friends blame themselves for not having prevented Adam's suicide.

Two years later, they nonetheless attend a private Hellworld Party at an old mansion. Mike, Derrick and Allison are enthusiastic about the party, while Chelsea only reluctantily accompanies them. Jake, who also attends, is still very much distressed by Adam's death. They are cordially welcomed by the middle-aged party host, who offers them drinks, shows them around the mansion, allegedly a former convent and asylum also built by Lemarchand, and provides them with cell phones to communicate with other guests.

As the party progresses, Allison, Derrick and Mike find themselves trapped in separate parts of the house and are gruesomely killed by the Host, Pinhead, or Cenobite minions Chatterer and Bound. Jake and Chelsea separately find themselves treated as if they were invisible by the other party guests and the police (called in by Chelsea). They also encounter appearances by the Cenobites (including Allison and Mike) which all turn out to be hallucinations.

Chelsea finds out that the Host is actually Adam's father who is out to avenge his son's death on his Hellworld-playing friends. The two flee the now empty mansion but are stopped by the Host, who now reveals he earlier drugged the five with a powerful psychedelic, buried them outside the house in coffins provided with a tube for air and called their cell phones to feed them suggestions. Their previous experiences were all results of the victim's fertile imagination based on the Host's suggestions.

While Allison, Derrick and Mike actually died in the ordeal, Chelsea and Jake are both rescued several days later by the police. The police inform them that they were led to the graves by a mysterious phone call from the empty mansion. The film shows what appears to Adam's ghost standing in the window.

Later, the Host sits in a bedroom, going through souvenirs of his son. He finds and opens an actual Lemarchand's box, which really summons the Cenobites. Pinhead praises Adam's ingenuity and mocks the Host's disbelief. The Host frantically tries to wake up from his supposed nightmare, but a cenobite (Chatterer) slices him into pieces.

Jake and Chelsea are shown driving into the sunrise, when they receive a mysterious phone call from the Host, who suddenly appears in the back seat. The two almost crash the car but are able to stop it. The last scene shows the police entering the bedroom in which the Host opened the box, the walls blood-smeared and the box lying on the floor.

After waking up in an apartment where only the night before a party was raging, Sam is forced to come to grips with reality: He is now alone and the living dead have invaded the streets of Paris. Petrified with fear, Sam is going to have to barricade himself inside the building and organize his survival. But is he really the sole survivor?

In Paris, Sam goes to the apartment of his ex-girlfriend to take his tapes back. She is giving a party and asks Sam to go to an isolated room to seek the box with his tapes. He falls asleep on a couch and in the morning he finds the apartment and walls covered with stains of blood. Soon he learns that everybody was murdered by zombies. Sam looks for supplies in the building and barricades himself in a safe apartment. Sam realizes that there are only living dead on the street. As the days go by, Sam survives but feels lonely. Until the day he meets Sarah, when he realizes that he is also losing his sanity.

Sam (Anders Danielson Lie), a Scandanavian musician living in Paris, visits his ex-girlfriend Fanny (Sigrid Bouaziz) to recover music tapes left in her possession. Fanny is holding a party and brushes Sam off multiple times before telling him where to get the tapes. Sam is accidentally bumped by a party-goer on his way to the tapes. Once there, his nose starts to bleed and he passes out. Sounds of chaos erupt outside the door of the office, but Sam sleeps through it.

The next morning, Sam wakes to find the flat trashed, with blood stains on the walls and no one inside. He ventures into the stairway and discovers a zombified Fanny who charges at him when he calls her name. Locking himself in her flat, he witnesses the death of a family from the apartment across the street who attempt to escape in their car. The flat, which is several stories up, is the only safe location that Sam can find. An army of flesh-eating zombies have seemingly taken over all of Paris, are very fast moving, and respond in hordes to any sight or sound. They are also completely silent, making almost no noise and never vocalizing.

Unable to leave the flat, Sam begins cleaning up until a shotgun blast erupts through the floor. Looking through the hole, he discovers that one of the residents below has committed suicide, after killing his wife, who he had bound to a chair after she become infected. He retrieves their shotgun and ventures outside, finding the zombies in the stairway gone. He quickly closes the doors to the building to seal himself inside. Sam explores the building's apartments one by one, finding most of them empty. He finds a zombified elderly man (Denis Lavant) in the building's elevator, binds the gate up, and begins conversing one-sidedly with the zombie whose name he learns is Alfred.

Sam successfully raids the building for a large quantity of food and supplies. He rations these and discovers musical equipment in one room, which he uses to entertain himself. As time passes, Sam becomes increasingly lonely and unhinged. Desperate for company, he attempts to capture a stray cat wandering aimlessly among the un-dead, but is nearly killed by several zombies. He makes it back to the apartment. In an engaged state, Sam shoots the cat from the window. Fearing he was bitten, Sam nearly kills himself a second time when he falls asleep with the shotgun placed beneath his head while waiting to see if he would turn.

As winter approaches, he is forced to contend with a lack of heat, and the running water supply to the building finally stops working. Surviving by collecting rain water and creating a wood-burning fireplace, Sam's mental state continues to decline. He notices one day that the streets are largely empty. Sam decides to test at how far away the zombies are by loudly playing a drum set. The un-dead return in hordes and nearly climb into the flat by piling atop one another. An enraged Sam continues to play despite the danger, his mind beginning to snap.

That night, Sam hears movement outside his bedroom door and fires the shotgun through it. He hears cries of pain and realizes he shot another person. He attempts emergency medical aid and finds the woman's bag, which has a large amount of rope and a grapnel hook she uses to go from rooftop to rooftop. The next morning, Sam speaks with the wounded woman, Sarah (Goldshiften Farahani), who explains how she has survived. He retrieves supplies from the lowest flat and kills the zombified occupants. She goes to the roof and tells Sam he will either die or go insane if he does not leave the apartment and goes on the road with her. Sam at first brushes her off, but relents. He returns to his room and finds Sarah dead from the gunshot wound.... their entire conversations were a result of hallucination. He mourns her loss, eulogizes her, and covers her body.

Sam decides to leave the apartment, burning the tapes and releasing the zombie Alfred, who wanders into his nearby flat where Sam locks him away. The burning tapes set off a fire alarm. As a result the zombies attack the building. They break down the doors and rush inside. Killing several with shotgun blasts to their heads, Sam manages to get to the roof and swings across the street to the next building, where he climbs to the rooftop and stares out into the seemingly endless skyline of Paris.

Humanity must resume its war against the Martians when they revive after decades of hibernation following their defeat in the 1950s.

At the end of the 1953 film "War of the World", earth is saved from alien invaders when they are apparently killed by common bacteria. However, what if the aliens weren't really dead? In "War of the Worlds" the aliens from the 1953 invasion are brought out of suspended animation when radiation kills the infecting bacteria. Now the aliens launch a genocidal war against an unsuspecting Earth, using their ability to take over human bodies to allow them to move freely. Dr. Harrison Blackwood teams up with microbiologist Suzanne McCullough, computer programmer Norton Drake, and army Lt. Colonel Paul Ironhorse to save the world from this alien menace. In the second season, Harrison and Suzanne are joined by mercenary John Kincaid, who help them fight in a post-apocalyptic urban wasteland against a second wave of invaders dedicated to the death of all life on earth.
